Hello, my name is Himanshu Tyagi. I am currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, which is located in Rupnagar, Punjab (near Chandigarh), India.

I obtained my PhD from Arizona State University, USA in 2008. Prior to that I obtained my masters degree from University of Windsor, Canada and bachelors degree from IIT Delhi, in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I have also previously worked in the Steam Turbine Design Division of Siemens (in Germany and India) and in the Thermal & Fluids Core Competency group of Intel Corp (in USA).
